Will You Choose the Good Part?

Luke 10:41-42   Jesus said "Martha Martha, You are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed and Mary has chosen that good part. Which will not be taken away from her". 

As I read the bible I so desired to be like Mary who was always at our Lord Jesus feet.  In my heart I felt I was so much like her.   And prayer, was truly my favorite place to be.  Gleaning from others best I could, I set out to pray and learn from women and men of God!   looking up to those more mature in the things of God than I.

 I found praying and  interceding with others who really knew how did volumes for me.  I received my Heavenly language recently and was enthralled and exited with this new language of love and intimate prayer that would escalate my heart and life to new excursions into Spiritual realms and  pathways of  wisdom, knowledge and anointing s through of the Holy Spirit..   Knowing  how the disciples of Jesus must have felt experiencing this  tender yet powerful and exhilarating depth of prayer that would lead them with New Boldness!  delivering,  healing, and setting captives free!!  as Jesus exemplified.   I would never take this intimate prayer of the Spirit for granted and always allow God to use my life for His earthly and eternal purposes!

As I began to pray and talk to God, meditating in His word.  I could hear the others praying in their heavenly language. This was truly heaven as it is on earth as the Lords prayer tells us. To feel, sense and participate in Gods Holy presence as our hearts entwined for one purpose  to Love God in unity and in one accord together as we prayed.. like being in the Upper Room in the days of old we waited and prayed as our King! our Savior! touched and renewed our hearts wirh strength to continue in His work of prayer  and intercession.
The Holy Spirit would remove me from the midst of the earthly to gently place me at the feet of Jesus Himself. Just as He would for Mary as she left her many tasks to find the better thing she loved.  To pray.

 Many a time I would be transformed into His loving and beautiful presence as the sounds of the others in the room would began to fade away into the distance. I could now feel Jesus arms of love.  Continual billows of loving waves enfolding  and filling me with his breathtaking peace and.  Transformed in His presence I would sense Him showing me what wonders lie ahead.  My life would be escalated into the future as scenes of what He had prepared for me flashed into being. What Glory and wonderment were in these intimate times of intercession and prayer.

I beheld a deep truth!  In all this in the early days, trying to learn from others.  The Lord Himself desired to show me "His" ways.  He would be the one who would teach me.  These precious times are Truly what prayer and intimacy in Christ is all about.  Sitting in His presence as the  oil of His Healing Power and Love touches our hurt and bruised body. In His presence all earthly bondage's chains that bind us, are released and we are set free entering into a new land of His ultimate vision for our life!! 

I will ever live in His Spirit, as Mary did  where the Life of God flows !!  Come today there is room for You to recieve his touch and rest in His Holy presence as prayer becomes a vital part of your life in Christ.
