Matthew 18:4
Whoever humbles himself as a child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
After giving my life to Christ I felt somthing supernatural happen. I never felt this love before. I knew my family loved me. But this kind of love from God through His Son Jesus deeply overwelmed and (Rocked!) as they say my whole world.
I remember getting off into the isle and kneeling down while in praise and worship. I felt some eyes watching me. I was simply returning my Love back to God in worship when feeling a gentle yeilding to go to my knees before my king. Many times I would go to the altar early befor the crowds came. Somtimes I would reach up in worship disiring more of Him.
In these times in yeilded humility the Holy Spirits lovely presence would pour over me like a spout of liquid love. Touching Revealing and at times healing me of all inhibition with alternating waves of His Glory washing over my thirsty yeilded heart. Becoming sensitve to the promptings and training of the Holy Spirit continually draws us closer to Gods spirit. Feeling "Alive, Stirred and Revived." The Beauty of His Holiness in "All" reality along with countless saints of old we read of in the bible.
There were times when others near me would introduce themselves sharing their desire to learn and grow while in worship and prayer. They desired what I was experiencing and were hungering and searching for more. This treasure. This supernatural spout of His Glorious presence becomes easy as we humble ourselves. Others too are then attracted by His Beauty and Holines.
In my search hungering for more of God. I fell into many disapointments trying desperately to encounter other christians to glean from. I began noticing very" few" like myself who would live a life of abandonment living moment to moment yeilded to Him.
This wonderfull childlike place so wonderfull secure and peacefull like a spout from heaven being poured over my parched spirit. I wondered why so few search for Him with their whole heart. My answer found in scripture reads" The Flesh wareth after the Spirit." The untamed "Fleshly Life" in us will fight for its" proud" ugly sin nature to continue. The Lord tells us "Those who walk in the Spirit of God are Sons of God." The Devil and the guards of His Hell live to keep us from this "Precious and Holy" walk with our Savior! But with no avail for we know the Battle is won in Victory through the annointed words of John in Revelations.
Jesus teaches the twelve a prayer as they camped by the sea of Galile "Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name "Thy Kingdome Come Thy Will Be Done On Earth as it is in Heaven"....These words are profound.!! We have skipped over them much to quickly and need to meditate on its meaning
Who can we glean and learn from if not from the Lord Himself and other annointed ones He has brought into our lives with hearts filled with the fire of His love and humility. His word says its " Possible" to have this "heavenly place" He is longing for this relationship of intimate humility even more than you desire it of Him.
I have learned over the years that this heavenly place must be deeply persued and not ever taken for granted. There have been some hard dry times in my walk and as I think back I recall my own failures of lost ground through lack of intimate humlity and prayer by flagrantly giving away precious time to the anxietys and worry of this world which in turn robbed my peace and joy in Christ. We must guard our walk letting nothing of this world rob us of this intimacy for one moment.
The Lords prayer is an invitation to" experience heaven here on this earth" I recall praying this often as a child laying a foundation for God to plant a firtle crop for Faith and trust then and for my future years. My ears were able to hear very clearly and from time to time I heard His voice audibly. little Samuel in the Bible was very young but awoke "clearly hearing" when the Lord called to him in the night. He was being trained up by the lord and so must we too who deeply desire this place of intimacy with Him.
Its His wish and hearts desire for you and I to live in" Heavenly Places" right here on this earth just as He did with the first twelve He so dearly loved . In His arms were the small innocent children that he chose" not " to ignore but held close to His breast. Giggling with laughter and freedom these were examples of how much He desired for our hearts to become, Humbled uncluttered and totally Free.
( Matthew 18:4) Whoever humbles himself like this small child " IS The Greatest in the Kingdome of GOD!"
Come to Him with childlike faith and yeilded heart. "Heaven on Earth" is ours in Christ! As You become Humble and Believe!! Just as a small child........Jesus arms are waiting as You reach out your arms to Him this very day.
