Cleansed for His Glory

 Corinthians 10:31 John17:21-23
To be glorified is to be rid of the self nature by continually partaking in the Divine nature... How can one do this?  Communion with the Father so that His presence is flowing in and through you at all times. Just as Jesus discribes in John. As He speaks of Gods abiding presence in us.

Cor 10:31 says Whether therefor ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the Glory of God!  (Do it  all to the Glory of God) are the Key words here. 
Is what you are doing pleasing to the Lord?

 As we look at our lives and think about everything we are involved in, is would Jesus be welcome  to join us?   Would Jesus be able to join in with you or would you be embarassed to invite the Lord into your atosphere of activities and pastimes and friends.

The word Glorification in the Noah Websters 1828 dictionary tells us it means Praising; honoring in  worship; ; extoling; exaulting to glory.
It also means to ascribe honor to, The act of giving glory to,  as the glorification of Christ after resurrecton.

 How we dress  how we decorate our homes or the company we keep are ways we glorify and honor God in our every day lives.
A good thought to remember  as Christians ( Christ followers) is that are to be in the world and NOT OF this world. In other words we are not to participate in the worldliness of our age.  Is there someone or somthings in your life you love more than God?

Today pray about these things and sort out and disgard objects and other miscelaneous debree that may be worldly treasures but Not of the Lord.  There also may be things that are an obomination to God and you may not even realize it untill you pray and go through your home and ask the Lord does this glorify you Lord?  Is this pleasing to you Lord?
Remove what ever it may be that is holding you back from a more intimate relationship with Him.  Yes, these kind of things can even hold you back spiritually.  They will actually attract negative and demonic forces to be escorted into your home familys and lives.  Bringing chaos, agitation, and ungodliness. God is a God of Peace and Love.  What kind of atmosphere is within your home? 

At a prayer gathering we regularly attended years ago as we were young in the Lord and still learning. The leader spoke of many things in our lives that were not pleasing or glorifying God, many even related to the occult. Like tarot cards, magic, posters, photos, statues, books, magazines even videos, movies, and cd's that uplift immoral life styles and  violence. 
 Many t.v. programs are downright evil.  As we took time to renounce these things we were made aware of we went  home removed them and threw them into the garbage or burned them so no one else could innocently get their hands on them.  We wanted no demonic forces residing in any area of our lives.

The process is of sanctification is a step by step process as your self nature is replaced with God's Divine nature.  Let the word of God do its work of washing you and cleansing your spirit as you read and follow all the New Testament of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Being quick to cleanse your home  of those things that may be an abomination to our precious Lord.  It will make a great difference in your heart and life as you release what God shows you.............. It could very well mean your New Found Freedom or Spiritual Breakthrough!
