I am being led of the Lord to teach a group of young girls ages 13 to colege age all about how much God loves them and deeply desires to make their dreams come true. This Christ centered hands on seminar will help put Godly importance first and above all decisions they wil be making in their future.
Somtimes in life we have to do things for God by entering through other doorways I worked in the beauty Profession for many years before the Lord called me to work for Him in His harvest. So at this time my God given versitility is to reach and help these young ladies learn and grow more confident in who they are in Him. Paul was all things to all people. So we too must learn to be flexable by not missing the adventurous side doors of ministry that God may be opening up for us.
It seems to me these girls are at a kind of crossroads in their lives like I was in my life long ago with no one to go to for the answers I needed.. I remember searching and searching and It wasn't in the local womens club in out little towne. It wasn't in the neighborhood coffee groups. Then their were the local bars where familys would get togather for a drink and chat (gossip)about what the neighbors are doing while getting silly with intoxicating brew and this was definately not for me either.
While these things are probrably seem quite normal to the many people in our daily lives It didn't seem normal to me. This was a great Big "clue" for me that I didn't recognize then. In fact I felt lost. LOST! and very alone. Oh! another "Biger clue". I never felt comfortable with these wastefull pass times. I had deeper questions and serious thoughts about life and nowhere and no one to ask to get answers. I Was Lost! I was without a shepard "Jesus" Even with many people in my life who attended churches I still couldn't see their lives as being changed in any way.
So I got involved with life and made many mistakes because of what the word of God calls "Lack of Knowlege" But how would I know when I didn't even read the bible or go to a Spirit filled church.
These girls have the opportunity to feel free to talk about Jesus. Because its based on Psalm 139 right out of the bible. Yes they will have the apportunity to learn about hair makup and all kinds of wardrobe mix and matches with just the right colors for their skin tone. But mostly how much God wants them to be who He created them to be. Beauty is only skin deep and they will learn the depths of what makes us who we are. He calls us salt upon the earth a seasoniong to make things taste good. It's also a valuable preservative to keep things from spoiling.And we're all usless and "spoiled" if we arent used to the fullest of our Godly potential. We belong to God we are His children first before our worldly parents. We are only given to them as a blessing for a season to raise up and be trained for our Heavenly Father!
Yes we are all created to be that one and only unique human being that God wants us to be. To shine that special light out into a dark and dreary world for those multitudes with no hope or direction in their life. Each one of us have somthing to give and if not fulfilled we shrivel up and start to slowly die little by little day by day.
Today check and see if God has opened a doorway that you might have over looked. I waited a long long time for the right person to finally tell me the Good News of my Savior so it came through a side door. Through a neighbor giving me her simple testimony of how Gods loved and got her through a life of heartache and abuse. Her love and faithfullnes in Christ touched my life! "One Divine appointment in time" ä side door!
During that same time God was bringing my attention to a very timely Christian talk show which helped me take the finishing steps needed to ask Jesus into my life. It didn't come through a church or a minister or my many friends who were church going. In fact Im sad to say they all seemed to be in social clubs that only a select few were invited to. So the Lord" kept" me till I could recieve the" Real thing" Jesus! And even though it took a long while I was completely ready and knew in my heart it was the best and right bibicle road for me to take.
It was God all along who was orchestrating my search for HIM! The word of God tells us in Jerimiah 29:11-14 "When we seek Him we shall be found of Him when we seek Him with our whole heart!
So today I ask God for as many detours and side doors He can open to me. these precious girls are only another adventurous side door God has opened for me to reach and teach and touch as many as I can for His Glory! My desire is to attract all to my Jesus. And only He has the "Inner Beauty" we all so desperately are needing in our world. Without His inner beauty in our hearts we truly have not found the living Christ!
